Picture a mouse toy for cats… synthetic fur, eyes, ears, tail, and stuffing. That’s at least five different materials that cats put into their mouths.
Alarming as it is, the cat toy market is unregulated. Therefore, ask the following before buying toys for your cats:
- Are the materials safe?
- Are the pieces choking hazards?
- Are the glues safe?

According to the Mount Sinai Health System, certain glues contain hazardous chemicals (ethanol, xylene, light aliphatic naphtha, n-hexane, and toluene). Even the names sound dangerous, and they are! 2. Non-Toxic Glue: The glue we use is certified non-toxic with FDA-approval for indirect food contact. This type of adhesive is often used to make wooden serving platters safe for human use.
Also, our glue is vegan. It DOES NOT contain any animal products. Furthermore, its production line is isolated, eliminating any chance of contamination from animal products.
